Peony Garden, Original Mixed Media Art
This pink peony art was inspired by a trip to the New York botanical gardens. I was going there to see the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture exhibit and the day I went in late May, the gardens were bursting with pink and white blooms of peonies.
If you look closely at the detail pictures, you will notice the piano music peeking through the layers with vintage scraps of old book pages and stripes and polka dots.
You can barely see the polka dots and stripes and I like to think of these peeking layers as the lingerie of the painting.
These sexy blooms are bursting forth with bright fuchsia which will add a vibration of love to any room you place it in.
